Design Visuals

School design visuals

Examples of school design visuals for educational refurbishment and school refurb design schemes. These visuals show several stylistic approaches to education refurbishment design including photo-realistic renders, mood views and hand-drawn concept sketches.

The process to arrive at these designs starts with a 2D space plan which sets out the dimensions, positions of FF&E and the main finishes for flooring, walls, etc. After this a visual is developed to show a design in perspective. The choice of a mood sketch or full photo render depends upon the status of the design. Early on the mood sketches are quicker to produce but have much less precision, generally referred to as showing 'design intent'. Later in the development of a school design scheme photo realistic visuals take several days to create, have greater detail, and will ideally be representative of the final agreed interior.

School design services

Refurbishing schools and classrooms can be a process of combining individual, standalone, trades and suppliers. The target of our school design services are to integrate the suppliers and finishes into a cohesive, thought-through, design scheme. Using design visuals alongside space plans helps tremendously in conveying the design ideas, capturing the proposed enhancements and ensuring the school refurbishment delivers a visual upgrade, enhanced use of space and a greater display of character and personality.
