ICT Suite Furniture for a Surrey School
City of London Freemans School have upgraded their ICT suite furniture with new desks from Fusion Classroom Design. The ICT furniture layout was matched to the previous configuration to ensure existing data and power cabling were still located correctly.
The old ICT desks were heavy in appearance and seemed to fill the room with furniture. The new desks, made to a custom size, are bright and modern. The contrasting wood effect edging matches timber panelling in the room, and softens the white surfaces. All the desks have easily accessed cable management and a very sturdy metal leg frame.
The desks were installed together with the adjustable monitor arms to lift the screen off the desk surface. These light but very strong monitor arms avoid spring or gas-lift adjustments so don’t have any components that will fail or need maintenance.
The ICT desking was supplied in 3 weeks to meet a half-term deadline. Installation took half a day from the vehicle arriving to fully assembled desks and fitted monitor arms. The special sized desks are 1000mm wide x 700mm deep.
