Flexi desks are designed for multi-use classrooms, easing pressure on timetabling through the freeing-up of space from dedicated ICT use. Depending upon your hardware Fusion can supply ICT desks that have PCs that stay inside the desk even when stowed away, or ICT desks for schools to fold away and nest to clear the room completely so long as the hardware is removed.

Flexible School Classroom Computer Desks
These images show a flexible pop-up ICT desk. This school ICT desk is designed so that an ICT classroom or school ict suite can have multiple layouts, including seperate Exam setup, and to be very easy to reconfigure. The advantage over other ICT furniture comes from the compact size, flexibility, and scope to swap the desk quickly from hardware to non-hardware formats without removing or disconnecting any hardware whatsoever. Mobile school ict suite furniture gives great flexibility when designing an ict suite layout, and our unique flexi-desks have the added advantage of supporting non-hardware classrooms as well as conventional ICT suite layouts with full size PCs and monitors.

Flexible School Desks for ICT
The Flexi ICT desk has two versions.
Flip Top computer desk format. A simple hinged desk top allows the computer screen, keyboard and mouse to be stored within the desk alongside the PC processor without any disconnection of cables. Tops are fitted with a gas strut to stop slamming shut of the desktop.
Rise And Fall IT desk format. The keyboard, screen and mouse are stored onto a rising or pop up support with a gas strut mechanism. A small section of the top lifts with the mechanism, but doesn’t restrict use of the desktop when closed.
Both formats of ICT furniture are easy to move around, will fit through a doorway and allow multiple configurations of ICT suite furniture. We can incorporate the pop up ICT desks into a bench or island format, with standard table height or low height for infant and primary school use.
Finishes for the classroom PC desks are black, white, cream and grey as standard on the metal frames. Tops can be in most MFC finishes such as white, grey, beech etc.
