Hard Floor Performance from a soft floorcovering
Our flooring product combines the appeal of a textile floor covering with the practical and hygienic advantages of a resilient, hard, floor. Textile flooring usually means carpet, which has inherent challenges from foot traffic, weather and spills. Hard floors mostly stand up to these but at a cost of warmth and softness, noise levels and colour/pattern.
Our hybrid school carpet flooring is able to withstand extreme wear and castor chair traffic making it a perfect option for very busy locations. To the eye it seems like a regular carpet and comes in a roll or a carpet tile.
Its anti microbial Sanitized® treatment gives consistent protection against bacteria without degradation through cleaning or vacuuming. It also suppresses the growth of dust mites. The floor cover has a worthwhile benefit to allergy sufferers as daily vacuuming cleans away twice as many allergens compared to conventional carpets. That is why it carries the Allergy UK seal of approval.
The choice of roll or tile is partly cost related but also down to appearance, traffic resistance and practicality. Tiles are great for removing a damaged or worn tile, for allowing layout patterns and reducing wastage when laying in uneven room shapes. Carpet roll is slightly cheaper, can be more resistant to rucking if heavy items are dragged around and will look more seamless.
Cleaning and stain resistance
Whether it’s water soluble stains such as coffee, ketchup, coca cola, wine etc or greasy stains like butter, oil or permanent marker, all can be removed. The floor below can be quickly and simply cleaned to look just like new.
This flooring is 100% waterproof which means you just need water and standard cleaning materials for an effective clean. You can also steam clean when hygiene standards demand it.
